Trash#
Deleting a record in the Compliance Platform moves it to the trash. Trash lists deleted records from across the platform, grouped by record type.
The figure at the top counts every record currently in the trash.
Restore or remove#
Each row shows the record and how long ago it was deleted.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Restore | Returns the record to where it was. |
| Delete | Removes the record permanently. |
| Empty (on a group header) | Permanently removes every record of that type. |
| Empty trash (in the page header) | Permanently removes every record in the trash. |
Permanent deletion cannot be undone. It is recorded in the activity log.
What appears here#
Records deleted from their own screens: organizational units, management systems, checklist items, checklists, risks and findings.
Tasks appear only when the Delete outcome was chosen in the not-done dialog, and they carry the reason that was given. A task marked as Missed stays in the task list and is not moved here. See Tasks.
Notes and limits#
- Nothing is emptied automatically. Records stay until they are restored or permanently deleted.
- Restoring does not restore separately deleted children, and does not re-create references that were changed in the meantime.
- The row does not say who deleted the record. That is in the activity log.
