Mobile2b Smart Lean#
Mobile2b Smart Lean is a lean manufacturing companion that provides tools for continuous improvement (Kaizen), waste identification and tracking, and employee training with knowledge testing. It empowers shopfloor teams to submit improvement ideas, quantify time waste by category, and complete structured training modules — driving a culture of operational excellence and learning.
Smart Lean builds on Smart Audits, so all audit, maintenance, and task management features are fully available.
Kaizen (Improvement Suggestions)#
Empower every employee to submit improvement ideas directly from the shopfloor. Each suggestion follows a simple workflow:
Submitted → Accepted / Rejected
The Kaizen view shows all suggestions in a table alongside a status donut chart (submitted / accepted / rejected), plus an AI element for additional insights.

Wasted Time Tracking#
Track and quantify time waste across 10 lean waste categories:
- Waiting
- Unnecessary Motion
- Transport
- Overprocessing
- Defects / Rework
- Setup / Changeover
- Machine Downtime
- Material Shortage
- Missing Information
- Other
Each entry captures the waste category, wasted minutes, and a description. The Wasted Time view groups entries by status (identified / realized) with a SUM aggregation on wasted minutes, making it easy to see where the biggest opportunities for improvement lie.

Training & Knowledge Testing#
Create structured training modules with built-in knowledge checks:
- Training Modules — define learning content with a draft / published / archived lifecycle and a configurable pass score threshold
- Knowledge Items — individual learning units with rich-text content and multiple-choice questions
- Knowledge Tests — run a structured quiz per module, with questions dynamically generated from the module's knowledge items
