Roles#

Roles have multiple permissions

There are 5 default Roles - Admin, Admin (Owner), Manager, Employee, Guest:

  • Admin: can access/create/update/delete all the features inside the platform, this role cannot be updated
  • Admin (Owner): has the same permissions as Admin and can additionally access the Commercial tab to view invoices and billing data, manage commercial agreements and contract-related information, and book additional services and service packages; this role can only be managed by mobile2b
  • Manager: can access/create/update/delete almost all the features inside the platform
  • Employee: can access/create/update/delete only certain features inside the platform
  • Guest: can access Flows, Tasks, Business objects and start Flows, this role is for External users

License type#

The Roles overview shows which license type a role maps to — Designer, Worker, or Guest — using the same classification that drives your license usage:

  • A role that carries at least one Flow, UI, Template, Bot, or Model design permission (draft, publish, create, update) is classified as Designer.
  • A role marked as external (used for Guest users) is classified as Guest, unless it already qualifies as Designer.
  • Any other role is classified as Worker.

This is display-only — it tells you where the users assigned to a role count toward your license, it does not change the role's permissions.

Settings:

  • Name*: you must specify a name for your Role
  • Permissions*: you must set at least one Permission for your role

Notes:

  • Even if your role has a permission to view certain Business objects you still have to add the user or the user group to the Access Rights for this Business object
