Getting Started#
Core Concepts#
Model–view–controller (MVC)#
Development in Mobile2b follows the well-known Model–view–controller (MVC) architecture pattern.
- Model: Model Designer
- View: UI Designer
- Controller: Flow Designer
Key Features#
UIs#
Each UI is made up of configurable elements, and you can arrange them visually on a canvas. These UIs become interactive steps in your Flows—perfect for gathering data, guiding users through tasks, or displaying results.
With built-in support for revisions, you can safely make changes without affecting the live version. The UI Designer is flexible, visual, and designed for both quick forms and complex, dynamic interfaces.
Flows#
A Flow is the foundation of how you automate processes in the platform. Think of it as a step-by-step map that defines what should happen, when it should happen, and how it should happen—without needing to write any code.
Business Models and Objects#
Business Models define how data is structured in your application. They act like templates for storing and organizing information—think of them as blueprints for Business Objects, which hold actual data (like a customer, product, or work order).
Business Models are a core part of building smart, data-driven Flows. They’re flexible, reusable, and tightly integrated with the rest of the platform.
Templates#
Templates define how documents look and what data they include. Using the Template Designer, you can build dynamic document layouts—like reports, certificates, or summaries—by dragging and dropping elements such as text, images, tables, and data from Business Objects.
Templates are used inside Flows to automatically generate documents based on user input or business data.
Design templates once and reuse them across your app to create consistent, data-driven documents—automatically and at scale.
Bots#
Bots help you automate tasks and processes across all parts of the platform—from Flows and UIs to Business Models, Templates, and Integrations.
You can configure Bots to run in the background, trigger actions, or respond to changes—saving time, reducing manual work, and ensuring things run smoothly even when you're not watching.
Integrations#
Integrations let you connect your app with external services and platforms you already use—boosting efficiency, improving collaboration, and streamlining your workflows.
Whether you need to fetch data, manage files, or handle secure access, Integrations help extend your system's capabilities beyond its core features.
